* October 22, 2016—10:00 am, “the hunting Ground”, the groundbreaking, award winning cnn documentary film about sexual assault on college campuses.

10,000 students will be sexually assaulted next year if nothing is done.  The video viewing will kick off a proposed 2017 AAUW Fort Wayne  project to address this problem locally.  Coffee, tea, and Pastries refreshment.  Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 w Washington Blvd.


 *$ DECEMBER 3, 2016  –  9:30 a.m.  Holiday Brunch and Silent Auction— Pine Valley Country Club, 10900 Pine Mills Rd, Fort Wayne, IN

Please consider bringing a basket or items for the Auction.  Sue Pries, pianist, will play Christmas music along with telling the history of the holiday songs.  There will also be a sing-a-long with Christmas carols.  


*$ December 6, 2016  1:00 pm diy Fresh floral holiday décor.  Join the creative arts group in making your own fresh holiday centerpiece.  The Diy florist, 3927 b kraft pkwy, space limited

 


 *$ March 22, 2017; annual meeting / recognition  night: Dinner catered by goegleins at the girl scout bldg., 10008 dupont circle drive east.   guest speaker Cindy thies, is a history buff and producer of the video “lesser-known first ladies: making the most of one term”. Along with stories about three first ladies, cindy will tie in the simultaneous events going on here in Indiana.


*$ May 6, 2017: 9:30 a.m. fort wayne country club,  5221 Covington road, fort wayne, in.  brunch  and guest speaker.  janet dean, author of  the bounty hunter’s redemption, and many other harlequin novels, will speak on writing and publishing in today’s marketplace.
